Our team is composed of passionate, creative individuals from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their unique expertise to our projects. Get to know the talented minds behind our games!
Federico Casares is the founder of Rhombico Games, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His lifelong passion for PC games began on his family’s 80386 PC, where he fell in love with resource management and city-building games like “Transport Tycoon” and “SimCity”. Federico’s journey into game development started at age 9, trying (with a modest degree of success) to create text-based adventures using QBasic. Today, he channels his love for gaming into crafting games that he himself would love to play.
Fredrik Drønen, our composer, operates from his studio in Bergen, Norway. He has a deep love for everything orchestral, as well as a keen interest in different musical styles and finding the perfect sound for each project. He relishes the creative process of designing music that enhances the gaming experience, and “Break, Enter, Repeat” marks the fourth title he’s scored for Rhombico.
Paul Laulhe is a 3D artist from Córdoba, Argentina, who specializes in stylized art. Since beginning his 3D modeling journey in 2015, Paul has contributed to several games, including “Automachef”, “Power to the People”, “Blue Fire”, and “Solar Raiders”. Besides his game development work, he also creates and shares free-to-use 3D assets under the name Quaternius, enriching the global game development community.
Artise Brown, a dedicated 3D artist from the UK, brings game environments to life. With a focus on creating detailed props and immersive landscapes, Artise is having a blast working on “Break, Enter, Repeat”, and he admits he can’t wait to see people pull off a heist and steal all the assets he’s made. When not crafting virtual worlds, Artise finds inspiration in playing video games and watching movies, always seeking new ideas to enhance his artistic creations.
Todd Stanier studied Games Art and afterwards was brought on board to make environment art for Power to the People. He’s currently employed full time in creative marketing and enjoys it thoroughly. Outside of work, he loves to be creative in any way possible, whether that is 3D modelling, painting or his latest obsession that stems in photography and videography.
Gustavo Coutinho, known also as Abra Sounds, is our sound designer, hailing from Brazil. His work has featured in various media, including VH1 and ITV shows, and games like “Power to the People” and “Roots of Insanity”. Gustavo’s passion for soundtracks emerged early in his life, driving him to explore and master the art of audio design. He loves the power of sound to evoke emotions and set the mood, making each project truly immersive.
